Purpose

The role of the Northshore High School Band Boosters is to assist the Director of Bands in his efforts in the promotion, and encouragement of music in Northshore High School and the surrounding community. Membership in the NHS Band Boosters is open to all interested persons.  You may participate by contributing to the organization through fees, donations or volunteering for the various support committees and activities.

Officers

A Board of Directors governs the NHS Band Boosters. This Board of Directors is composed of seven (7) officials elected in the Spring by the Band Boosters (president, vice-president, treasurer, secretary, and two at-large positions and one Belle position) plus two appointed officials. The appointed officials are the Northshore High School Band Director and Assistant Band Director. The Board of Directors has the responsibility of supervising all affairs of the Boosters in a competent and professional manner to achieve its stated goal of supporting music education at NHS.

Committees

A music program of the size and quality of Northshore's doesn't happen on its own, in fact it is a rather rare occurrence. Over the years the Northshore music program has maintained a tradition of excellence, in no small part, due to the hard work and support of the various committees and activities. All interested parties are highly encouraged to attend the Booster Meetings and volunteer for the committees as this is truly a team effort!
